Conveyancing Assistant

Position: Full-time, Permanent

An established and growing law firm based in Prestwich is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for property law who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conveyancing Assistant to support fee earners with a full range of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
• Preparing and managing legal documents, contracts and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
• Conducting searches and submitting applications
• Managing case files and ensuring all records are kept up to date
• Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
• Providing excellent client care at all stages of the process

Requirements

• Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role is preferred
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
• A proactive and professional attitude
