Role Overview

Our client, a well-established and high-performing claimant law firm, is seeking a Solicitor/CILEX or experienced litigator. This opportunity is based in a collaborative, office-focused environment designed to support professional development and career progression.

The role will involve managing a varied caseload of predominantly fast-track non-RTA claims, both pre and post issue, from instruction through to conclusion. The firm benefits from high-quality, non-CMC sources of work, ensuring exposure to strong, genuine claims.


Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • At least 1 year PQE, CILEX qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience managing a litigated caseload from cradle to grave
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process
  • Experience handling fast-track claims. The work is non-RTA but confident RTA litigators looking to move over to EL/OL/PL work will be considered
  • Ability to progress cases proactively through litigation to achieve the best possible client outcomes
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
  • A strong billing track record and ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment
  • A proactive and resilient mindset, with genuine tenacity and enthusiasm
Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience using Proclaim case management system
  • Exposure to both portal and non-portal claims
  • Experience progressing cases to trial or final hearings
