We are looking to recruit an experienced health and safety solicitor to work in one of the country's leading SHE Regulatory teams representing various corporate clients, to include on one of the country's most significant corporate manslaughter investigations which is also likely to feature a super-inquest.

Please note that our PQE levels are a guide and all suitable candidates will be considered.

The Team

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a top 20 International law firm with one of the UK's country's leading Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) departments, working out of its Manchester office. Recognised in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 for both disciplines of Health and Safety and Environmental work, we have a collaborative, supportive team working in a modern, flexible environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You will have an excellent background in criminal health and safety work with at least 5+ years PQE.
  • You will be experienced in working closely with in-house legal teams.
  • You will be bright and ambitious with strong academics.
  • You will be a highly determined individual capable of working effectively in a team.
  • You will enjoy being challenged by complex legal issues and expanding your knowledge.
  • You will be a confident and effective communicator.
  • You will be focussed on delivering a highly professional service to blue-chip clients.
  • You will possess strong IT skills.
