A Compliance Manager, who will lead a team to ensure that the Business operates in compliance with all relevant jurisdictional regulations.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring that the Business is compliant with its regulatory responsibilities, specifically focusing on local regulations within jurisdictions that the Business operates and wider Business opportunities within emerging markets.

You will have a strong management background and experience working within technology, with the ability to assist the Business in ensuring compliance with all relevant jurisdictional regulations.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy and may require international travel.

Preferred Skills And Experience

Previous managerial experience.

Strong understanding of information technology.

Demonstrable experience of working in an IT environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Previous experience analysing impacts across the compliance stack.

Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.

Pragmatic approach to the administration of governance.

Previous exposure to gambling regulations and legislation would be desirable.

Main Responsibilities

Managing a team of analysts and team leaders by allocating work, conducting one-to-ones, team meetings and coaching.

Assessing the impact of Business projects and changes against compliance requirements.

Providing internal consultancy to internal departments on regulatory matters.

Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure regulations within each of the jurisdictions are complied with.

Developing a firm understanding of the relevant regulations to which the Business must adhere to.

Identifying and provisioning appropriate regulatory training and knowledge transfer into every area of the Business as required.

Communicating with regulatory bodies as necessary.

Taking an active role in the project process to ensure that regulatory points and matters are considered upfront and throughout the project lifecycle.

Identifying any nonconformity and escalating where appropriate.

Deputising for management where required.
