The Role
To develop and implement the strategic plan for “CARS” (Compressed Air & Reliability Services) aligned with the strategic and tactical plans for Engineering Services, and Rubix UK.
To lead, manage and co-ordinate the financial and operational effectiveness of the business unit.
To manage QHSE in line with statutory requirements and company expectations.
Main Tasks And Deliverables
Responsible for managing and maintaining the QHSE performance of the business unit through the adoption and maintenance of an appropriate quality management system.
Responsible for developing and implementing strategic action plans to achieve target KPI’s for revenue, gross margin and EBITDA. Develop and deliver commercial action plans aligned with the organisations growth drivers.
Responsible for constructing the annual budget and operating plan for the business unit (BU). Responsible and accountable for managing the BU’s financial and operational performance through regular analysis and reporting. Manage and maintain the CRM database for current and potential customers. Regularly prepare and circulate sales forecasts and pipelines. Propose and present business plans and financial justifications as required.
Responsible for working collaboratively with the Rubix sales network to identify and select target customers and the development and execution of timely sales action plans. Responsible for presenting and promoting the “CARS” and wider engineering services business unit offering; the development and maintenance of appropriate customer needs analysis documentation and the provision of product and application training to branches and Insite’s.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the business unit operating model through the provision of processes, polices, and procedures aligned with the Company’s values and goals.
Provide leadership and management of the BU team, ensuring appropriate resources are maintained in line with business needs through the recruitment and development of a highly engaged and empowered team. Responsible for talent management, learning & developing, succession planning, PDR’s and eNPS action plans.

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field
- Qualified in the use of condition monitoring and / or compressed air systems and applications
- Previous work experience in an engineering services / industrial MRO environment
