Role description:

This will include both site and desktop based assessments and working on both single assets and portfolios.
Most of the services assessments will be investment acquisitions or dispositions although with some being occupier based. This may also include desktop advice/review relating to European acquisitions.
The key focus of our advice and reporting is to identify key risks, the severity and quantification of these risks, along with recommendations for mitigation. Our advice needs to ensure that our clients achieve maximum value from their built assets with a clear understanding of risk.
Role accountabilities:
The role includes Technical Due Diligence appraisals of Building Services; (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Electrical installations, Vertical transportation, Drainage etc.) across a range of building types although largely commercial.
Working within the TDD team, the Senior Building Services Engineer will be actively involved in surveying and inspecting property services installations, preparing defect analysis reports and technical audits, along with direct client engagement. On larger portfolios, management and coordination support will also be a key requirement (working with our approved suppliers) to ensure consistent, quality and timely delivery. Adhoc support and advice will also be needed within other teams within the Sector and wider Property community within Arcadis.
The position includes a relatively high level of responsibility and accountability with an opportunity to develop managerial as well as technical knowledge and skills, and to progress within a successful and growing specialist team.
