Our client is an established and expanding venue based in central Manchester, looking for a General Manager to lead the team.

As an experienced General Manager you will working alongside the team to offer the best customer experience, whilst also ensuring all venue operations are running smoothly.

The role will be varied but responsibilities will include:

  • Staff management.
  • Creating and managing staff rotas.
  • GP management, stock control, P & L.
  • Leading a team of 15-20 staff.
  • Training and guiding the team.

About you:

  • Computer literacy with Word and Excel is essential.
  • 3+ years of hospitality/bar management experience.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing and developing a similar business.
  • Experience in a managing a large, high turnover environment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of the brewing industry, cellar management, stock control and beer range control
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, soft drinks, and coffee is essential.
  • Experience training and developing a dedicated team of staff. #
  • Working alongside the operations and marketing teams to manage social media
  • Knowledge of H&S and any government standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join a business at an exciting time of growth.

Working hours are 5 days over 7. The General Manager is expected to work the core Friday/Saturday shifts within the month as these are fundamental operational days. However, the management team have a rota in place offering flexibility to take these shifts off and maintain cover.
