Role Purpose
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic employment-focused multidisciplinary team. This remote-based role is ideal for an HCPC-registered OT with a strong understanding of vocational rehabilitation who is passionate about enabling individuals to overcome barriers to employment. This position offers flexibility and can be delivered on a full-time or part-time basis; however, you will need to attend our Manchester office for pre-employment checks and team meetings.

This position offers flexibility and can be delivered on a full-time or part-time basis; however, you will need to attend our Manchester office for pre-employment checks and team meetings.
Duties
- Conduct virtual assessments to identify barriers to employment, including physical or mental health factors.
- Create tailored intervention plans to support individuals recovery and transition to sustainable work.
- Provide advice and practical recommendations to employers on workplace adjustments, guided by legislation such as the Equality Act 2010.
- Produce high-quality reports detailing assessment outcomes and reasonable adjustments.
- Collaborate with Employment Specialists, Recruitment Consultants, and other professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
- Offer advice on complex cases and deliver training sessions to colleagues and employers on disability awareness and workplace adaptation.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and uphold standards in line with clinical governance and professional frameworks.
- Engage in regular clinical supervision, ongoing CPD and maintain accurate case documentation.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
- Experience supporting individuals facing complex barriers to employment.
- Strong understanding of workplace adjustments, mental health challenges, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and clinical governance principles.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and IT skills.
- Experience delivering training or group sessions is desirable.
- Able to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and collaborate effectively as part of a remote team.
