Paralegal / Litigation Executive - Aviation - Manchester

We are seeking to recruit for a Paralegal/Litigation Executive join our Manchester Aviation team on a permanent basis.

The Aviation Team

The team represents airlines and their insurers in all aspects of dispute resolution and his experience includes, but is not limited to, major losses, subrogated actions, aircraft and related property damage claims and general liability matters such as personal injury, cargo and baggage claims.

The team has experience in handling matters involving EU consumer rights legislation in the field of aviation law, in particular the carriage of passengers with reduced mobility.

Experience And Skills Required

  • An undergraduate law degree or equivalent.
  • Personal Injury Aviation experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • General Personal Injury experience would be a preference.
  • Ideally from a defendant background, however we will look at candidates from a claimant background.
  • French or Arabic language skills would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Experience of handling own caseload would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills and ability to handle high volumes of work.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently by managing time in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
