As a Nightingale Group Facilitator You Will

  • Support the direct delivery of a trauma-informed GM wide RASSO group support service to non-offending family and loved ones of victims/survivors who are engaged in the Criminal Justice System.
  • Be a pro-active part of the Nightingale Project - a whole system response to supporting the loved ones of victims/survivors collaborating and working in partnership with Nightingale project members.
  • Support the development of community-based interventions.
  • Deliver quality assured, therapeutic based, group and community support services.
  • Provide psycho-education on the needs and impact of sexual violence on victims/survivors.
  • Provide a groupwork programme for loved ones educating on the criminal justice system / process.
  • Work within a multi-agency partnership to liaise with other health and social care staff from a range of agencies in the care provided to clients.
  • Accurately record clinical interventions and maintain a high standard of record keeping.

To be successful as an Nightingale Group Facilitator you will need:

  • Experience of coaching or mentoring.
  • Understanding of issues relating to rape and sexual assault
  • Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System.
  • Knowledge of 1:1 counselling/psychotherapy and ISVA.
  • Experience in data management and information governance.
  • Previous experience of working within a highly confidential setting, adhering to data governance.
