The Team
The Sales team is pivotal in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities while enhancing relationships with high-value clients. Their expertise in selling complex technical solutions and strategically managing accounts is unparalleled. The team's mission is to develop new business, strengthen client relationships, and maximize account growth. Collaborating with account management, marketing, tech, and customer success teams, they ensure solutions meet client needs, delivering unmatched value and satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll lead the charge in driving new business growth and securing new logos. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Revenue Growth and New Business Acquisition: Discover and secure new business opportunities, target high-value accounts, and expand market reach.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement account plans to unlock upsell, cross-sell, and new sector opportunities, leveraging market insights.
- Solution Selling and Consultative Approach: Use a consultative, needs-based sales approach to position tech solutions as vital to client success, tailoring pitches to demonstrate ROI and scalability.
- Market Insights and Competitive Edge: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze market dynamics, and use competitive intelligence to refine sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business goals and identifying growth opportunities.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor pipeline performance and client engagement, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
What Experience You Need to Be Successful
- Proven track record in new business development within the SaaS or tech industry.
- Experience managing high-value accounts with a focus on growth and retention.
- Skilled in consultative, solution-based selling to address complex client needs.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with executive-level clients.
- Familiarity with technical terminology and ability to engage in meaningful discussions.
- Proficient in using data to drive decision-making and strategic adjustments.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior team members.
