Our public sector client is looking for a contract specialistto help improve their housing services. Work across a number of key stakeholders at the council, you will be expected to deliver the following:

• Have experience of different contract types particularly TAC-1, FAC-1, JCT forms of contract &National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates is essential.


• Create detailed specifications and contract documents that outline the Councils and Housing Services objectives and standards


• Design commercial cost models and schedules of rates to be used throughout the contract and that reflect the specification requirements and are clear to understand and implement


• Ensure Accuracy and Consistency using clear language that avoids misunderstandings, reduce errors, and maintain consistency throughout all documentation.


• Compliance and Quality: Ensure specifications align with best practice, industry standards, regulations, and legislation.


• Collaborate and embed within teams to gather information from different services to develop comprehensive specifications.


• Provide support throughout the procurement process, including responding to bidder clarifications, evaluation of tenders and establishing processes and ways of working following contract award


• Training and support for staff on the terms of contract as required.
