The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is a state of the art Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility adjacent to Spire Manchester Hospital. Currently, the team is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

The OTC strives to be an autonomous centre of excellence, aiming to be the private healthcare provider of choice for Musculoskeletal Outpatient Services, across the Northwest. This is an exciting joint venture between OrthTeam Consultants and Spire Healthcare and is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to join a new team and be part of a developing service.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time

As Business Development Executive, you will be will be leading the marketing strategy and delivery of initiatives for the Orthteam Centre.

Working closely with senior stakholders of the business, the role will support the delivery of the Orthteam strategy measured through social media engagement, event participation, sponsorship funding, patient experience, new referrals and income generation.

Duties And Responsibilities

These will include but are not limited to:

  • Support the General Manager OTC to deliver marketing initiatives, education and patient events and communications in line with the OTC growth plans
  • Act as a brand guardian by having good knowledge of our values and mission
  • Support the roll-out of marketing materials (including from central marketing) across the OTC
  • Identify and assess local media / promotional opportunities within the community and elite sports
  • Support the generation of content and stories for the OTC social media channels and audiences, independently identifying and pitching local stories whilst responding to central briefs
  • To operate within an approved framework for the execution of our online review and moderation strategy
  • Act on PR opportunities, preparing press releases, and liaising with Consultants and the Head of Media Relations to promote hospitals and services within the Hub
  • Maintain and update databases for the OTC as identified in line with CRM product guidance

Who We're Looking For

  • Degree with Honours
  • Competent user of MS Office
  • Analytical and able to see the story in the numbers
  • Understanding of the different marketing channels
  • Exceptional written skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience of writing compelling copy for a variety of mediums
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of the Hub team
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
