About the Job


Penrose Partners is hiring a part-time, contracted Marketing Manager to drive our organizational marketing efforts and execute campaigns for our clients. In this role, you will leverage your web3 expertise in digital marketing, managing paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and content marketing across multiple platforms. 


We’re looking for someone who thrives in an independent work environment with a passion for blockchain and web3 technology. 


Key Responsibilities:


Social Media and Content Marketing



  • Write and craft engaging copy and messaging across different marketing platforms.

  • Manage company and client social media accounts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and Discord using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite/Sprout Social. 

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies to enhance engagement and growth.

  • Use Figma for content creation, social assets, and collaborative design work.


Digital Advertising and Performance Marketing



  • Develop and execute strategic digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Twitter/X Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Manage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, and ad placements to optimize ROI.

  • Craft compelling ad copy and creatives; experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Figma). 

  • Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.


Web3 Marketing and Growth Strategies 



  • Up to date on current web3 marketing trends, blockchain technology, and crypto communities.

  • Assist in developing web3-specific strategies, including community-driven initiatives and token-based engagement campaigns.


Email Marketing and Copywriting



  • Write compelling copy for social media posts, email campaigns, blog articles, and marketing materials.

  • Use HubSpot to plan, design, and execute email marketing campaigns to engage, nurture, and convert leads.

  • Monitor email campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) and optimize accordingly.


SEO and Website Optimization



  • Use SEO tools such as Semrush to implement and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website visibility.

  • Conduct keyword research and optimise website content and landing pages for search engines.


Analytics and Reporting



  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and social media analytics to track marketing performance.

  • Generate reports on key metrics, campaign effectiveness, and ROI, providing actionable insights.


Qualifications:



  • Understanding of the crypto/web3/blockchain ecosystem.

  • Undergraduate degree from a leading institution, with a strong track record of academic and professional achievement.

  • Work experience at a top-tier crypto or blockchain-based company or at least 2.5+ years of experience in digital marketing, product, or strategy. 

  • Proven experience managing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, Twitter Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Figma, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and  Hubspot.

  • Experience optimizing for SEO. 

  • Basic graphic design skills with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision (including proactively seeking guidance when needed).

  • Highly analytical with an interest in sifting through, and identifying trends within, large volumes of data.
