BI Developer- Power BI, DAX, Agile, ETL Pipelines, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, T-SQL, MDX - Hybrid (Manchester) - £48-55k + excellent bonus + excellent bens

An experienced BI Developer is urgently required by my client with significant experience of creating actionable insights through analysis of data from internal data sources. Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX and Data Warehousing/ ETL pipelines will be needed, along with Azure Data Factory. You will be responsible for helping to build a new, best practice-based data warehousing and reporting solution which will function Enterprise-wide.

BI Developer Role And Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of the Business Intelligence reporting system infrastructure, including delivering new reports, monitoring report performance and usage
• Gather, interpret and develop reporting requirements through working in partnership with business leads
• Develop and drive actionable insights from our data sources to support senior management decision-making
• Conducting data quality checks while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all spectrums before implementing findings
• Develop reports, visualisations, and presentations to communicate strategic findings and presenting these insights as recommendations to key stakeholders
  
  

BI Developer Skills And Experience

• Significant experience of with Power BI and DAX to create visually engaging interactive reports and dashboards
• In-depth understanding of Azure Data Factory and ETL pipelines processes and data warehousing in a CI/ CD environment
• Experience of presenting complex data effectively through the use of data visualisation techniques
• Experience of managing and co-ordinating a number of different projects concurrently
• Understanding of data quality and ability to prepare data for analysis

Ownership is a key part of the ethos as well and as such there is a responsibility to provide third line support of solutions in production if required.
