Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Building Management Systems (BMS) sales team across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 5 sales professionals, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. A key focus of this role will be on coaching and developing the sales team to achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 5 sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.


  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the Building Management Systems market.


  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.


  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.


  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.


  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.


  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the Building Management Systems or related industry.


  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching and development.


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.


  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
