Our client is a carbon-neutral and ISO 9001 / 14001 certified organisation, dedicated to delivering high-quality signage solutions. They take pride in their innovative approach, commitment to sustainability, and maintaining the highest standards in production and installation.
They are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take charge of their workshop and installation teams. This is a key leadership role where you will be the central hub of the production and installation activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage a team of 14 colleagues, including 10 workshop staff and 4 installers, while upholding the company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all production and installation activities.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Manage and motivate a team of 14 staff.
- Maintain and improve processes in line with ISO 9001 / 14001 standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Optimise workflow and resource allocation for maximum productivity.
- Work closely with the design, sales, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Manage stock levels, procurement, and supplier relationships.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Uphold the company's reputation for excellence in signage production and installation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in production management within the signage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of production techniques, materials, and processes related to signage.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 / 14001 standards and commitment to sustainability.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in managing production schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenges.
