Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant- Manchester M40, M22, M16 
 
Location: Manchester- M40, M22, M16 
Salary: £85- £95 per Day

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary-Permanent ASAP 
Join our team as an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant in Manchester, supporting schools in the M40, M22, M16 areas. 
Responsibilities: 
  • As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one or small group basis. 
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support the inclusion of SEN students in mainstream lessons. 
  • Assist students with academic tasks, personal care, and social integration, promoting their independence and well-being. 
  • Utilise a range of strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of SEN students, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. 
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the review of individual learning plans. 
Requirements: 
  • Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a school setting. 
  • Understanding of SEN support strategies and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. 
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the education and well-being of students with SEN.
