Our client is a leading construction company specializing in insurance restoration, commercial and domestic refurbishment, and maintenance projects. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality construction solutions, we take pride in our commitment to excellence, client satisfaction, and innovation in the construction industry.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects, providing accurate cost assessments, and maintaining effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and remain within agreed-upon limits.

  • Tendering: Coordinate the tendering process, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and variations in project scope, providing proactive solutions to mitigate financial impact.

  • Quantity Takeoff: Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs to determine the quantities of materials required for each project.

  • Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports, including cash flow projections, cost reports, and variance analysis.

  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met while maintaining cost-effectiveness.


  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in insurance restoration, commercial refurbishment, and domestic maintenance projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, and techniques.

  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as CostX or equivalent.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
