Hybrid working - 2 days onsite & 3 remote

It’s built a strong community, and it’s now focused on growing its audience and turning that engagement into lasting brand partnerships, sponsorships and affiliate revenue. The leadership team is ambitious and commercially driven, and it’s a really exciting time to join.

They’re now looking for a Head of Marketing to lead the marketing team and take ownership of how the brand grows. This is a commercial, people-focused role. You’ll drive audience and community growth, oversee the influencer and ambassador programmes, and make sure marketing activity supports the partnerships and sales that keep the business moving.

You’ll manage the marketing team, including a Digital Marketing Lead who looks after the hands-on digital work, and work closely with the Head of Affiliates to make sure marketing supports sales. You’ll also present strategy and numbers at board level, so confidence in the room matters. Some international travel for events and expos is part of the job.

The role:

• Lead the marketing team, setting priorities and managing performance, including the Digital Marketing Lead.
• Drive audience and community growth, with a strong focus on expanding the influencer and ambassador programmes.
• Plan and deliver activations, online and offline, that retain and grow brand partnerships and sponsorships.
• Work closely with the Head of Affiliates to make sure marketing supports sales and commercial targets.
• Own brand governance and content, and present strategy and performance confidently to the board.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience growing successful influencer and ambassador programmes.
• Strong commercial B2C marketing background, ideally within sports or community-focused brands.
• A growth marketing mindset, with the commercial awareness to link marketing activity to revenue and partnerships.
• Senior marketing manager or lead experience, ready to step up into team leadership and confident presenting numbers at board level.
• An outgoing, energetic personality, comfortable with international travel
