Multiskilled Maintenance - Manchester - #2189070

We are recruiting for a Maintenance operative to cover PPM and reactive fabric maintenance in the Manchester area. The maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, basic electrical and mechanical plus compliance checks such as tap temps, emergency lighting checks etc.. The role is a permanent position paying circa £32,000.

Maintenance Operative description:
Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and compliance checks:
Handyperson duties
Fabric maintenance duties
Emergency lighting checks
Tap temps and anti legionella work
Basic Electrical and mechanical maintenance
Basic room repairs
Ad-hoc maintenance duties
 
Handyperson Requirements:
To have maintenance and handyperson experience
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Valid driving license
Ability and desire to complete general maintenance tasks
Knowledge of compliance such as legionella checks, tap temps, emergency lighting checks
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
