An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance and Operations Manager to join a growing property-focused business in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Finance and Operations Manager who enjoys being close to the detail, taking ownership of the finance function and playing a key role in supporting business performance. The position offers significant scope to develop and grow, with a clear pathway into a more senior leadership position and become an integral part of the team.
You will be based in beautiful offices in Central Manchester and will be joining an established team and organisation.
Description
This is very much a hands-on position, suited to someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, getting involved in the detail and having the opportunity to influence how finance operates within the wider business.
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function and ensuring the smooth running of financial operations.
- Overseeing month-end processes, management accounts and financial reporting.
- Managing cash flow, budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintaining strong financial controls, processes and reporting structures.
- Providing meaningful financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of finance systems and processes.
- Developing and strengthening the finance function as the business grows.
- This role will also evolve to include lots of operational tasks so really does need somebody with that mindset.
Profile
- Qualified or QBE will be considered.
- Circa 3-5 years experience in a role that encompasses full management accounts.
- Experience within consultancy would be advantageous.
- Experience in an SME, hands-on environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong ability to interpret financial data.
