Revolution Recruitment Resources is recruiting on behalf of a Manchester law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to take a senior position within its team.

This is an opportunity for a confident practitioner who combines strong technical knowledge with the empathy and clear advice clients need during difficult circumstances. Experience across both privately funded and Legal Aid matters would be particularly valuable.

The opportunity

You will manage a varied family law caseload, take a senior role within the team and contribute to the delivery of a responsive, high-quality service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing family matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
• Advising clients on their options, likely outcomes and next steps.
• Preparing legal documents, progressing proceedings and negotiating resolutions.
• Maintaining strong client relationships through sensitive, practical advice.
• Bringing experience and sound judgement to complex matters.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to the wider team’s development.

About you

You will be a qualified Solicitor with 5 Years PQE, substantial family law experience and the confidence to operate at a senior level.

Ideally, you will offer:

• Experience handling both Legal Aid and privately funded family matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and case management skills.
• The ability to manage your own caseload and competing deadlines.
• A compassionate approach to clients alongside clear, decisive legal advice.
• The willingness to share your knowledge and support colleagues.
