With a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 plus bonus across multiple UK locations, you will actively support a high-performing team helping clients progress towards their long-term objectives.

Multiple locations are available across the UK, within their regional hubs including:

- Barnstaple, Devon

- Manchester, Greater Manchester

- Birmingham, West Midlands

- Plus other locations considered across the UK

Candidates must live within sensible commuting distance of one of these locations.

Your purpose

This Associate Financial Advisor role bridges the gap between early advising experience and full portfolio independence. Working directly alongside senior financial planning directors who have established client books and capacity to support you, you will deliver comprehensive advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning. The position exists to transition ambitious professionals into handling recurring client reviews, conducting research, and gradually taking over client relationships.

What the job involves

- Partner with senior advisory directors to support and review active private client portfolios

- Gather comprehensive client information, conduct market research, and analyse existing arrangements

- Prepare clear suitability reports and compliant advice recommendations across wealth products

- Attend and contribute to client review meetings with retail clients and business owners

- Maintain detailed records and ongoing regulatory compliance using modern back-office systems

Associate Financial Advisor Requirements

- You should hold Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS, DipFA, or equivalent)

- Minimum 12 to 18 months of financial advising experience

- Proven working knowledge across pensions, investments, and personal protection solutions

- Articulate communication skills with the gravitas to build rapport with clients

- Experience using industry research tools, cash-flow modelling, and back-office software
