Description

• Prepare and review personal tax returns and calculations for a diverse portfolio of private clients.
• Support the delivery of private client tax advisory and planning projects.
• Assist with the accurate submission of personal tax returns to HMRC.
• Build strong client relationships, responding to queries and obtaining relevant information.
• Carry out technical tax research and contribute to advisory reports.
• Liaise with HMRC on client tax matters and administrative enquiries.
• Identify potential tax risks and planning opportunities, escalating where appropriate.
• Draft advisory reports and recommendations for review by senior team members.
• Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines and budgets.

Profile

A successful 'Tax Senior Manager' should have:

• Experience working within Private Client or Personal Tax, managing compliance and client relationships.
• ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Good understanding of UK personal tax compliance and related legislation.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with both clients and colleagues.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve tax-related issues.
• Motivated and career-driven, with a genuine interest in developing within Private Client Tax.
