As a Buyer for Raw Materials you will lead sourcing strategies across key ingredient and material categories, balancing cost, quality, risk and continuity of supply. This is a hybrid role where you can enjoy collaborating onsite 10 days per month and work remotely the rest of the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver sourcing strategies for key raw material categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, tenders and contract management activities.
• Identify cost reduction, value engineering and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation and supply security.
• Support new product launches by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, commodity movements and supply chain risks to inform decision-making.

• Proven procurement or strategic sourcing experience within FMCG, manufacturing, chemicals, ingredients or raw materials.
• Track record of delivering commercial value through supplier management and negotiation.
• Strong category management and strategic sourcing capability.
• Experience managing commodity-driven or globally sourced categories.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience; MCIPS preferred.
• Exposure to SAP or a similar ERP system is advantageous.
