Pay: GBP95 - GBP120 per day

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting experienced Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Knutsford and the surrounding areas. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and nurturing individuals who have previous experience working with primary-aged children and are passionate about making a positive difference in the classroom.

Primary Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities

Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within whole-class lessons
Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging learning activities
Help pupils to remain focused, motivated and engaged throughout the school day
Support children's academic, social and emotional development
Foster a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff and other support staff
Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation where required

Primary Teaching Assistant - Requirements

Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
Two professional references covering the last two years
Clear CV history with explanations for any employment or study gaps
Previous experience working with primary-aged children is essential
Experience within a UK primary school, nursery, childcare, youth work or care setting is required
A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
