Role: Brand Manager

Salary: £55–60k DOE

Reports to: Founders

Location: Salford, Manchester (on-site)

Other: On-site gym and parking

Northern is built to work. Form and function, craft and grit. This role sharpens and protects our point of view as we scale our partnerships and international presence. You will drive a high-cadence department within a fast-growing business, sitting alongside an established senior team across marketing, trading, merchandising and account management.

What you’ll do

• Work directly with the founders and senior management on brand strategy and execution.
• Lead a growing creative team across videography, photography and graphic design.
• Own and manage a dedicated brand awareness budget across our website and partnerships.
• Own the website brand experience: the visual identity of our digital storefront and product pages.
• Run celebrity partnerships end to end: sourcing talent, campaign ideation and execution.
• Manage our ambassador network: community events, collabs and content generation.
• Bring the outside in. Watch other brands and bring exciting ideas to the table.
• Protect the Northern brand experience through content delivery and quality control.

Who you are

• 5+ years’ experience in brand management.
• A self-starter who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty to solve a problem.
• A highly competitive personality with a natural interest in fitness, training and wellness.
• A team player who brings the best out in others.
• A natural negotiator.

Tools

• Proficient with the full Adobe suite (including Firefly), Figma and Canva.
• Familiar with, or willing to learn: OpusClip, Nano Banana, Klaviyo and Shopify.

• Promotional planning or performance marketing.
• Working from home or hybrid.
