SEN Specialist Tutor - North Manchester

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Specialist Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners across North Manchester.

This rewarding role involves supporting learners through personalised lessons that build confidence, improve communication and support learners in achieving their educational, employment or personal goals.

Tuition may take place in learners' homes, community settings or other agreed venues, depending on individual needs.

Position Details

• Location: North Manchester
• Position: SEN Specialist Tutor
• Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The successful SEN Specialist Tutor will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL or equivalent)
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, adaptable and learner-centred approach

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional references relating to work with children or vulnerable adults
