Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys providing focused, individual support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning?

Aspire People are recruiting 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas.

These opportunities are ideal for candidates who have experience supporting individual pupils with additional needs and can provide consistent, tailored support throughout the school day.

With roles available now, we are looking for candidates who are ready to take on a new opportunity and make a positive difference to pupils' learning and development.

**The Role:**

- Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with SEND
- Helping pupils access classroom learning and activities
- Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, communication needs or SEMH
- Encouraging emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Following individual support plans and guidance from the school
- Supporting transitions, routines and social interactions
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

**The Ideal Candidate:**

- Has relevant experience supporting pupils with SEND in a UK school
- Has recent primary school experience, ideally within the last 2 years
- Is confident working on a 1:1 basis
- Can build strong and positive relationships with pupils
- Has a calm, patient and consistent approach
- Is available for full-time or regular part-time work
