Teaching Assistant - Denton, Tameside
FULL TIME | IMMEDIATE START | LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY

Prospero Teaching are working with a mainstream secondary school in Denton, Tameside, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Graduate, or Support Worker looking to make a positive impact within a secondary school setting.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Location: Denton, Tameside
· Position: Teaching Assistant
· Type of Work: Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4
· Start Date: Immediate
· Contract Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
· Full-Time: Full Time
· Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP110 - GBP125 per day (depending on experience)
· Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm

THE ROLE
· Support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
· Provide one-to-one and small group support.
· Assist pupils with additional learning needs.
· Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
· Work closely with teachers to support learning outcomes.
· Help create a safe and inclusive environment.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience working with children or young people is essential.
· Education, youth work, care, coaching, or mentoring experience desirable.
· Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Positive and resilient approach.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
· Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
· Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
