We are recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Client in their established and growing Accountancy Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, provide specialist tax advice and play an important role within the wider team.

• Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and self-assessment computations
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
• Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and potential tax efficiencies
• Providing advice on capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other relevant tax matters
• Reviewing tax returns and computations prepared by junior members of the team
• Ensuring all tax submissions meet HMRC deadlines and regulatory requirements
• Dealing with HMRC enquiries and resolving tax-related queries
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring clients receive relevant advice

• Previous experience in a Tax Senior or similar role within an accountancy practice
• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying towards a relevant qualification
• Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate taxation
• Experience managing a portfolio of tax clients
• Good understanding of current tax legislation and HMRC requirements
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
