Are you an experienced Commercial Claims professional looking for an opportunity to take greater ownership of complex claims and build strong, long-term client relationships?

Nashrock Recruitment is working with a leading, well-established insurance brokerage seeking a Commercial Claims Executive to join its team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical and client-facing aspects of claims, is confident negotiating with insurers and takes pride in achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims from initial notification through to settlement.
• Handle complex, high-value and contentious claims across a range of commercial sectors.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients throughout the claims process.
• Negotiate with insurers to achieve fair and timely settlements.
• Liaise with loss adjusters, legal representatives, brokers and other stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings and site visits following significant losses.
• Work closely with Account Executives and Claims Handlers to deliver an exceptional client experience.

About You

• Previous commercial claims experience within an insurance brokerage is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage and claims procedures.
• Experience managing claims through to settlement, including more complex losses.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Confidence dealing directly with commercial clients and challenging insurer decisions where appropriate.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

CII qualifications, or progress towards them, would be advantageous but are not essential.
