Financial Reporting Manager - #2180888

HW Finance are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Consultant for a successful, outside IR35, based in Manchester city centre / hybrid for 3 to 6 months.

As Financial Reporting Consultant you will primarily deal with statutory reporting, consolidations and audit and across a group of multiple entities. Working with finance teams and external auditors to deliver accurate, timely accounts and reporting, while helping coordinate the consolidation process.

Duties:

• Prepare and support the delivery of statutory accounts for multiple legal entities.
• Coordinate audit activity, including preparing audit schedules, responding to queries, managing information requests and populating files.
• Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve consolidation discrepancies
• Review financial information for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Work with internal finance teams and external advisers to meet reporting deadlines.
• Identify and address issues in reporting processes, controls and supporting documentation.

Person Specification:

• Qualified accountant, with a recognised UK qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Seasoned interim who can work autonomously but is happy to do the heavy lifting.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit.
• Proven experience supporting consolidations across multiple entities.
• Confident managing audit requests and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Interim assignment for circa 3–6 months, immediate interview / start.

Based in Manchester city centre, hybrid working model and outside IR35.
