Paid Social Coordinator - #2180630
SMRS
Date: 21 hours ago
City: Manchester
Contract type: Part time
We're a global brand, culture and communications business that believes opportunity should be open to all.
We open doors for people, ideas and organisations ready to change for the better. We think bigger, challenge assumptions and bring our personalities and collective thinking to every project. We're committed to making a positive impact through our work, our culture and the world we're helping to shape. And as a Coordinator in our Social team, you'll get to work with all kinds of fascinating organisations to help them attract, engage and keep the people they need.
Learning from an experienced team, you'll play an important role in delivering paid social campaigns for clients across higher education, employer branding and talent attraction. This is a performance marketing role rather than a content creation role. You'll work closely with strategists, creatives, client teams and media partners, but your focus will be on the technical and analytical side of paid social.
You'll spend your time in the TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, Reddit and LinkedIn ad manager platforms, building and activating campaigns, creating audiences, managing budgets, monitoring performance and spotting opportunities to make every campaign work as well as it possibly can. From campaign setup and quality assurance through to optimisation, reporting and performance analysis, you'll support every stage of the paid social process, helping campaigns launch accurately, budgets stay on track and performance data turn into meaningful insight for clients. As your experience grows, you'll take increasing ownership of campaign delivery, testing and optimisation, developing the skills to become an expert in paid social advertising.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with data. You might be looking to kick start your career or already have some experience in paid social or digital marketing or looking to specialise in this area. It's fast paced and varied, so you'll need to get up to speed quickly on our wide range of marketing services, have Microsoft Office skills and the ability to develop trust with our clients.
You'll be excited by audience targeting, campaign performance, testing, tracking and optimisation. If you're looking for a role focused on creating social content, this probably isn't the right fit, but if you're interested in understanding how advertising platforms work and using data to improve campaign performance, we'd love to hear from you. And you'll have access to our online learning hub, where you can sharpen your expertise and progress your career.
Benefits
In return, you'll be joining a flexible, supportive and values-led business where you'll have the space to do your best work alongside talented and passionate colleagues. And we care about supporting our people too, which is why you'll enjoy enhanced benefits that include 30 days of annual leave a year (plus bank holidays), hybrid working, healthcare apps, and two charity volunteering days a year. So, if you're as passionate as we are, join us. Salary of £26,228 per annum.
We believe that a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace makes us a more relevant and more resilient company. We welcome people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and experiences.
SMRS is a Disability Confident Employer. Candidates who disclose a disability and meet the minimum requirements for a role will automatically be offered a first stage interview. If you would like to make us aware of a disability, or if you require any reasonable adjustments throughout the application process, such as receiving interview questions in advance, please contact
