Key Responsibilities:

• Raising and issuing customer invoices and credit notes.
• Monitoring customer accounts and outstanding balances.
• Chasing overdue payments by telephone and email.
• Allocating incoming payments accurately to customer accounts.
• Reconciling customer accounts and investigating discrepancies.
• Resolving invoice queries and payment disputes promptly.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records.
• Preparing aged debt reports and providing updates on outstanding balances.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
• Assisting with month-end processes and other finance duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar finance role is desirable.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

• Annual Salary up to £29,000
• Annual bonus – 5% for the first year / will increase
