Transactional Finance Lead - #2179509

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional finance professional to lead the day-to-day processing of sales and purchase ledger activities across multiple entities while supervising a small team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll also play a key role in improving and centralising finance processes and supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.

Description

• Lead the processing of sales invoices, purchase orders and purchase invoices across multiple trading entities
• Oversee and support a transactional finance team member
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Complete bank reconciliations and process bank transactions
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
• Produce transactional finance reports and analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting databases
• Drive process improvements and support the centralisation of finance activities
• Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system and embedding of improved processes

Profile

• Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bookkeeping principles
• Experience using accounting software, with Xero knowledge advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Confident identifying and resolving discrepancies
• A proactive approach and desire to improve processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business

Job Offer

• Permanent Transactional Finance Lead role.
• Salary of £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
