Are you a part-qualified Management Accountant looking to take the next step into a more commercial, forward-thinking finance role?

I'm recruiting for a high-growth e-commerce business based in Trafford Park that is looking for an ambitious Commercial Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an up-and-coming accountant who enjoys understanding the numbers but also wants to get closer to the commercial side of the business. With a strong emphasis on FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering, you'll gain excellent exposure across a fast-paced, growing organisation.

The role
You'll work closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders across the business, with responsibilities including:

• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Financial planning and analysis across key areas of the business
• Producing management accounts and insightful monthly reporting
• Analysing performance, trends and variances including margin and cost analysis
• Preparing financial models and commercial analysis
• Supporting decision-making with meaningful financial information
• Working with non-finance stakeholders to understand business performance
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and financial performance
• Supporting month-end and wider management accounting activities
• Helping to continually improve reporting, controls and processes

About you
Ideally, you'll be a part-qualified CIMA or ACCA with solid management accounting experience who is now looking for broader commercial and FP&A exposure. You'll be analytical, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. Most importantly, you'll be ambitious and keen to develop beyond traditional management accounting into a role where you can really understand and influence business performance.
