This global insurance broker is seeking a Client Service Specialist / Corporate Account Handler, to join the team in a senior capacity. Here, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of a portfolio comprising some of its largest and most prestigious clients; from FTSE100’s to some of the region’s best known privately-owned businesses.

As Client Service Specialist you will be re responsible for leading the end-to-end servicing of corporate clients, including those paying six-figure fees, from a range of industry sectors. You will work with Account Executives and Directors to deliver the client’s insurance strategy, shaping the service plan and ensuring that the best possible terms are secured for renewals, new business and mid-term amendments. You will also use your internal networking skills to liaise with specialists from across the UK, and sometimes overseas, to promote the full range of solutions available to clients, always remaining alert to gaps in cover and opportunities to mitigate these through ancillary covers and services. You must also develop compelling marketing and client materials that clearly present risk profiles, proposals and placement strategies. As a senior member of the team, you will get the opportunity to undertake quasi-managerial duties, such as assisting in the training and development of less-experienced colleagues and acting as a technical referral point.

It is essential that you have extensive knowledge of the broking landscape coupled with an excellent knowledge of all common commercial covers. You must also have excellent communication and negotiations skills, and a good understanding of the issues that affect businesses from a range of industry sectors.
