Loom Talent are working exclusively on a Senior HR Manager role in Manchester working for a logistics and distribution giant.

This is an exciting position setting up a fulfilment centre from scratch to launch in the new year.

**I am going to do this one a bit backwards - starting with what they are looking for **

• This role is going to suit someone who has worked within a logistics or transportation organisation throughout their career
• Someone who is comfortable and familiar with that ever changing, busy environment and au fait with the challenges of the industry.
• Your approach will be focussed on relationships, professional but warm and someone who will be able to partner both locally but international too.
• Finally, you will come with experience of setting up a function from scratch, implementing the processes, policies and comfortable running the site form an operational perspective.

Now … on to the role

• This is a senior HR position - one that will report to the HR Director for EMEA and partner closely with senior stake holders throughout the organisation.
• Due to this size of the business being in rapid growth phase the role will be exceptionally varied and ever changing.
• Transnational elements of HR will be supported by AI, so this will have the capability to focus wholly on the project in hand.
• The focus will be setting up the site, ensuring it is fit for purpose for rapid growth, focussing on recruitment initially, and then the sound HR support of the fulfilment centre moving forwards.
