Damp and Mould Surveyor - #2177704

We are currently working in partnership with Multiple Housing Associations based in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, who are recruiting for damp and mould surveyors on a temporary contract. These positions are due to start immediately, with the potential to be extended. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £35 via an Umbrella company. 

The ideal candidate will experience in damp and mould surveying and have a full UK driving licence.  

Duties will include (but are not limited to):  

• Carrying out up to ten surveys per day relating to day-to-day maintenance and responsive repairs 

• Completing surveys in line with Awaab's Law Phase one and two and HHSRS 

• Creating specifications of work for internal operatives and contractors 

• Carrying out pre and post inspections on the work of operatives 

• Diagnosing root causes of various types of damp and mould 

• Creating specifications of work and raising SORs on internal systems 

Experience required: 

• Experience required Awaab’s Law 

• Experience in identifying root causes of various types of damp and mould 

• Experience in damp and mould surveying within domestic properties 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required: 

• A strong understanding of damp and mould  

• Compliance and understanding of Awaab’s Law 

• Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence
