Events Manager- Manchester - #2175831

A well-established financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead the delivery of a varied portfolio of client events, investment seminars, partnerships, sponsorships and hospitality programmes.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of events from concept through to execution and evaluation, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver engaging experiences that strengthen client relationships and support business development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of client events, seminars, sponsorships and hybrid events.
• Develop event concepts aligned with business objectives, target audiences and brand guidelines.
• Manage budgets, venue sourcing, supplier relationships, contracts and event logistics.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, Marketing and Business Development teams to maximise engagement and commercial impact.
• Oversee invitations, registration, guest experience and post-event communications.
• Monitor event performance, report on ROI and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all events meet relevant compliance, risk management and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate budgets, timelines and project documentation.

About You

• Significant experience in event management, ideally within financial services, professional services or a premium client-facing environment.
• Proven ability to manage events from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
• Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers and external partners.
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of client engagement and business development.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event management platforms.
