Accounts Assistant - #2175528

Ascent Recruitment is working with a fantastic, well-established business in Manchester that is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its friendly and supportive finance team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.

This is a varied role with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, alongside supporting the wider finance team with general accounts duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable process
• Processing supplier invoices and payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
• Supporting month-end processes
• Assisting the wider finance team with general accounting and administrative duties

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience is essential
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team
• Immediately available or able to start within 2 weeks
