Working with leading Tier 1 contractors and end users, the company delivers exceptional workmanship across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, organised and commercially aware Joinery Project Manager to oversee the delivery of bespoke joinery projects across residential and commercial sectors.

You will take responsibility for projects from initial planning and coordination through to installation, completion and final handover. Managing programmes, resources, budgets, subcontractors and client relationships, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in joinery, carpentry, interior fit-out or construction project management, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, manage site teams and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, main contractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage joinery projects from initial planning through to installation, completion and final handover.
  • Oversee residential and commercial projects, including bespoke joinery installations, high-end residential fit-outs and commercial interiors.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinate site managers, installation teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other trades.
  • Manage labour requirements, material procurement, deliveries, equipment and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with Tier 1 contractors, clients, architects, designers and other project stakeholders.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications and installation details to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and expenditure, identifying risks and implementing corrective measures.
  • Manage variations, additional works and changes to project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, health and safety and programme compliance.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, logistical challenges and potential delays.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, site requirements and company procedures.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure snagging issues are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain project documentation, progress reports, programmes and handover records.
  • Report project progress, costs, resource requirements and performance to the Project Director and senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure projects are completed to the agreed specification, within budget and to the required deadlines.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in project management within joinery, carpentry, construction or interior fit-out.
  • Strong understanding of joinery installation processes and construction site operations.
  • Experience managing projects from inception through to completion and handover.
  • Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and multiple trades.
  • Experience managing project programmes, budgets, resources and deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and installation plans.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Valid First Aid certification.
  • Confident client-facing skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships professionally.
  • A proactive, commercially aware approach with the ability to take ownership of projects.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Experience delivering high-end bespoke residential joinery, luxury fit-outs or commercial interior projects would be particularly advantageous.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be an organised, proactive and results-driven Project Manager with the technical knowledge and leadership skills to deliver high-quality joinery projects across residential and commercial environments.

You will be comfortable managing multiple projects, coordinating installation teams and subcontractors, controlling costs and maintaining strong client relationships. With a hands-on approach and excellent attention to detail, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What's on Offer?

  • Salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience.
  • Car allowance.
  • Additional company benefits.
  • The opportunity to manage high-quality bespoke joinery projects across residential and commercial sectors.
  • A key role within an established and growing joinery business.

If you have the project management experience, technical knowledge and leadership skills to deliver successful joinery projects from start to finish, we would welcome your application.
