Sales Director, Scandinavia Region (Travel required)

Build a market. Win the first deals. Shape the future of deep tech.

We’re partnering with an ambitious technology business at the forefront of advanced computing, seeking a hands-on enterprise sales hunter to launch its Scandinavian market.

This is a genuine first-on-the-ground opportunity. This is an individual contributor role. You’ll build the territory from scratch, establish relationships with major enterprises and close the company’s first significant deals selling complex, emerging technology without the backing of an established brand.

The opportunity

  • Own Scandinavia: Build pipeline, create demand and win new enterprise customers.
  • Close $200k+ ACV deals: Lead complex, high-value sales cycles from prospecting to close.
  • Educate the market: Translate cutting-edge technology into compelling business value for customers who may be unfamiliar with the solutions.
  • Sell to senior stakeholders: Engage CTOs, CIOs, Chief Scientists, R&D and innovation leaders.
  • Shape the growth journey: Establish the company’s presence across enterprise, government and research markets.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong startup experience; as a first sales hunter hire or the first commercial person in a new market selling emerging technology.
  • Proven enterprise new business sales success, personally closing deals worth $200k+ ACV.
  • Experience selling complex, technically sophisticated solutions requiring consultative selling and significant customer education.
  • A track record of building markets and winning new business for lesser-known brands / tech.
  • Background in deep tech or adjacent sectors such as quantum computing, AI, HPC, EDA, scientific software or advanced simulation.
  • Confidence navigating long sales cycles and multiple technical and commercial decision-makers.
  • Native Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or Finnish, plus fluent English.
  • UK-based and willing to travel across Scandinavia.

Why join?

A rare opportunity to commercialise next-generation technology, win the first major customers in a new region and have a direct impact on the company’s growth.

Senior individual contributor role, no people management.

Ideal candidate: A proven enterprise hunter who has built from zero, sold complex technology to large organisations and knows how to close six-figure deals without relying on brand recognition.
