What you'll do

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on ESG matters across Vanguard's European products and operations
• Support with regulatory change and disclosure projects, including SRD II and the UK Stewardship Code
• Draft and review ESG-related reports, disclosures, and statements
• Conduct legal research, horizon scanning, and regulatory impact assessments
• Work closely with Investment Stewardship and Product Legal teams to deliver pragmatic legal solutions

What you bring

• Qualified lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE (asset management, private practice, or regulatory experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of ESG regulations affecting asset management
• Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management abilities
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a dynamic workload
