Belong is delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s most respected independent agencies, a proud, founder led business that is hard working, client obsessed, and owned and led by people still in the thick of the work every day. Central to their plan is Manchester, and they’re appointing a new Managing Partner to drive growth and further develop their proposition and profile across the UK.

The role

This is more responsibility, not less delivery. You’ll run client work, get stuck into pitches and problems, and lead at the same time, sitting alongside CEOs and CMOs as a trusted adviser. Expect real influence over where the business goes, and a share in the value you help create.

What we’re looking for

• Someone who gets performance, brand and creative, and can see how it all fits together
• A track record of building something, with the numbers to show for it
• Experience carrying a P&L, an office or a new business target, knowing your margins, scope and revenue per head
• You’ll have hired, developed and promoted great people, and handled the tougher conversations too
• An owner’s mindset: spotting opportunities and risks early, and getting on with it
• Open on background: a current managing partner, a client services or practice lead stepping onto the board, or a head of ready for real ownership. Larger network experience is welcome if you’ve worked in an entrepreneurial, hands on way
