Cable Cutting Operative

Cable Cutting Operative / Warehouse Cable Cutter. A cable company based in Manchester require a Cable Cutting Operative to join the team.
The Cable Cutting Operative / Warehouse Cable Cutter duties will be as follows -

• Cutting different types/sizes of cable accurately
• Operating cable-cutting and winding machinery
• Picking cable orders
• Labelling and preparing cable for dispatch
• Loading/unloading cable drums
• Checking stock
• Recording the amount of cable used
• Keeping the cable area organised
• Following manual-handling and H&S procedures
• Offloading cable from overseas supplier containers

Our client is looking for someone who is hard working/enthusiastic and wants to progress within the business.
The Cable Cutting Warehouse Operative's hours of work are 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday with potential of paid overtime on Saturday mornings (optional).

The Cable Cutting Warehouse Operative's basic starting salary is £29-35k depending on experience, bonus and other benefits. 25 days holiday.
