We’re supporting a major UK banking client looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and evolve secure, resilient cloud platforms.

This hands-on role spans Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, delivery pipelines and developer self-service, helping engineering teams release software safely and consistently.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and operate enterprise Kubernetes platforms across GKE and OpenShift.

• Create reusable Terraform modules and automate cloud infrastructure.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Harness and Jenkins.

• Improve developer experience through Backstage, self-service capabilities and reusable platform patterns.

• Implement Dynatrace observability, SLI/SLO measures and automated operational runbooks.

• Strengthen platform security and connectivity through Vault, certificate management and Istio.

What we’re looking for:

Strong hands-on Kubernetes engineering, including required OpenShift experience.

Terraform and infrastructure automation expertise.

Experience with Harness, Jenkins, Backstage and Dynatrace.

HashiCorp Vault, Istio, IAM and secure platform configuration experience.

Strong troubleshooting, scripting and production support skills.

GCP/GKE experience is preferred. Experience within a large regulated enterprise would be advantageous.
