Are you an experienced accountant ready to take the next step in your career, with greater responsibility for clients and the opportunity to develop towards management? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established accountancy practice where people, progression and client relationships are genuinely valued.
As an Experienced Senior Accountant, you'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, working closely with senior colleagues to deliver accounts, advisory support and a high-quality client experience. You'll have the autonomy to build strong relationships while continuing to develop your technical and commercial skills.
This role would suit a qualified accountant or an experienced Senior Accountant who is ready for increased responsibility within a progressive accountancy firm.
You'll manage your own portfolio, become a trusted point of contact for clients and have the opportunity to support and develop more junior members of the team. There is also scope to become increasingly involved in advisory work and business development as your experience grows.

Support client retention while contributing to the development of new business relationships.
Coach and support junior members of the accounts team.
Take an active role in improving processes and delivering an efficient client service.

You'll ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified, or actively working towards qualification, with previous experience within practice at Senior Accountant level.
You'll be comfortable managing your own workload and client portfolio, with experience working with owner-managed businesses and a broad range of accounts assignments. Strong communication skills are important, alongside the confidence to build lasting client relationships.
Experience with accounting practice software such as CCH would be advantageous, as would a genuine interest in technology and improving service delivery.
